Correspondence : referral and casework files, 1975-1978 (bulk 1977-1978).

Primarily correspondence concerning inquiries and complaints of constituents, most of which was handled by referring letters to appropriate state agencies for reply. Other letters were handled directly by the governor's office staff, some were referred to local agencies, and some were too illegible or incoherent to be answered. Considerable correspondence concerns welfare benefits and legal problems, and there are frequent complaints regarding such things as taxation, judicial lenience, and state spending.
